How to use

See it in action.

Four short videos, a few minutes in all, showing everything from your first morning to sending a lead to your CRM. The companies and people in them are made up.

1. Getting startedSigning in, your Dashboard, and what arrives every morning.
2. Finding and working leadsSet your patch, pick the trades you want, claim a lead, then status, notes, follow-ups and tags.
3. Search and LinkedInFind any company or director, and the people behind it.
4. Team, CRM and downloadsFor admins: adding people, sharing leads out, Capsule and spreadsheets.

Your first morning, step by step.

  1. Sign in at app.companydatapro.co.uk with the email you signed up with. The Dashboard shows yesterday's new companies, your follow-ups due, and the best of the newest companies.
  2. Set your patch. On Leads, type your postcode area (PO), district (PO6) or town, and the trades you want, like "construction" or "recruitment". We remember them.
  3. Claim a lead. Open a company and press Claim this lead, so your colleagues know you're on it.
  4. Keep track. Update the status as you go, add notes after each call, and set a follow-up date. The lead comes back to your Dashboard on the day.
  5. Add your team (admins). On the Team page, add colleagues and give leads out.
  6. Connect your CRM (admins). Connect Capsule in Settings to send leads there in one click, or download a spreadsheet of the leads you're working.

Good to know

  • New companies arrive by 4am every morning: everything registered at Companies House the day before. Weekends and bank holidays are quieter.
  • The score (out of 100) puts the most promising first: active, recently registered companies with one to three directors, in trades that tend to buy business services.
  • Contact details come from each company's own website and public listings, so not every company has them, especially in its first few days.
  • The registered office is the official address on Companies House. It can be an accountant's or formation agent's office, so the business may trade somewhere else.

Customers also have a Help page in the app. Questions? Get in touch.
