Who we are

Company Data Pro is a service of Virtual Offices Network Ltd, registered in England & Wales (no. 14891248), registered office Gatcombe House, Copnor Road, Portsmouth, Hampshire PO3 5EJ. Two kinds of people this covers

Our customers – people who sign up for and use Company Data Pro. People in our database – directors and contacts of companies registered at Companies House, whose business details appear in the service.

Our customers

We hold your name, work email, company name, password (stored scrambled, never readable), the notes and lead activity you and your team add, and billing records. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. We use this to provide the service, bill you, keep it secure, and contact you about your account. Our lawful basis is our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. We keep account data while your subscription is active and for 6 years afterwards for accounting purposes, or less if you ask us to delete it and the law allows.

People in our database

For each newly registered UK company we hold information from the public register at Companies House – company name, number, registered address, nature of business, and the names and roles of its directors and other officers – plus business contact details (website, email address, phone number) that the company has published publicly online.

We make this available to our customers so they can offer relevant services to new businesses. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: helping businesses find new customers, where the information is already public and relates to a person's business role. We've weighed this against your interests, and we only use business contact details – not home addresses or personal social media.

If you'd like your details removed, or to object to their use, email hello@companydatapro.co.uk with the company name and number and we'll act within 14 days. We'll keep a minimal record so we don't add them again.

Who we share data with

Our customers (for the database only) and the suppliers that run the service for us: Supabase (database and logins), Cloudflare (website and app hosting), Render (overnight processing), Stripe (payments) and Resend (email). Some of these process data outside the UK under the UK's approved safeguards (adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement). We never sell customer data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to move it elsewhere. Email us and we'll respond within 14 days. If you're unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We only use what's needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings (such as your chosen postcode). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
